Disney Pixar’s “Brave” Loses Female Director Brenda Chapman

October 22, 2010 • By Home

It is being reported that Disney/Pixar’s “Brave” has lost its female director, Brenda Chapman. Apparently, Brenda, who was set to be Pixar’s first female director, was pulled from her directing duties and that story artist Mark Andrews has taken over.

The movie is set to release to theaters on June 15, 2012 and stars the voice of Reese Witherspoon. Reese voices the Scottish Princess Merida who wants to be an archer rather than royalty. Against her mother’s wishes she makes a reckless choice that will unleash peril on her father’s kingdom and on her mother’s life – uh oh!

What do you think in this change of director for “Brave”?
