Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato performed their hit song “Wouldn’t Change A Thing” from the Disney Channel Original Movie “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam” at one of their recent concerts in Mexico and there seemed to be a bit of tension between the two while they were sharing the stage.
When we saw clips of these two singing the song at concerts earlier in the summer before they split as a couple and reached a rocky road in their friendship when Joe started bringing new girlfriend Ashley Greene to their concerts, they would perform the song close to each other, singing to each other and really getting into the song together. Now however, Demi and Joe keep their distance and hardly look at each other through the song – and as soon as it’s over Demi makes a point to walk off stage without even a glance at Joe.
Do you think this couple can’t wait for the tour to be over so they don’t have to perform together anymore? Or do you think they were just having an off night?
I think that they’re going through a rough patch :/ but I think it’s unfair just to blame it kn Joe just cos he has moved on. Joe’s not the one cutting Demi out of his life, a bit like how Demi has with him (unfollowing him on twitter) and j get that Demi’s heartbroken :/ but I think it’s about time she just accepted the fact Joe has moved on and be friends with him again :/ cos I mean what would she rather..? That then never talked again? Just my opinion …
They only performed it once in South America, and that was for the television cameras that night in Mexico. Demi performs Lo Que Soy with a fan in her set and the WCAT duet is cut. Best way for them, but not for the fans.
Demi should only be friends with Joe when SHE wants to be, not when fans want her to be. We don’t know what happened, but clearly things went downhill when Joe brought Ashley with him on tour for a while. Before that they seemed to be getting on pretty well during the concerts. Laughing & joking.
Time will tell if they are to be friends again, probably not like before though. We have to remember that Demi can’t get away from her EX at the moment (or his new G/F). It’s not a case of ‘getting over it’ if real feelings were involved.
Plus, it’s probably more to do with the respect part of the friendship that could be the problem now & not the split. Joe should treat her with respect if they were such good friends.

lol, but yeah, she has a right to not be paying attention to him, and to take the spotlight.
Tbh though, why should his life just stop because Demi can’t move on, no offence but Joe hasn’t actually done anything wrong :/ Neither has ashley. and neither has Demi. But if Demi wants to stay friends then she’s the one who needs to pull the wait, seeing as she’s the one who’s trying to cut Joe out of her life. Joe’s not the one who’s unfollowed her, and he didn’t pull the weight through that song, he was the one who was looking at her waiting for her to look back… he’s not gonna stop living his life for anyone. Joe didnt even seem like he was trying he did not sound good at all. When he hadnt brought Ashely with him they were really happy joking around being friends but when he brought her it continue to go down hill. Every time they sing this song Joe seems like hes trying less and less and Demi looks uncomfortable. Demi handles this all so very well big deal she un followed him i would of the moment he brought ashely on tour. She could be handling this alot worst then not following him.

Joe is a little unfair to Demi .. after just a month he finds someone els brings her on tour and thinks everything will be okay ?? i understand Demi very well when she wants nothing to do with him bacause if it was me i wouldn’t either !!…
Ashley isn’t good for joe !! he drinks something to improve his sex life :O + she got him wrapped around her finger and when she is there Joe is different with Demi then he was from the start!
i’m not a joe hater trust me i’m a big fan of him and his brothers but i stand by Demis side anytime !!… Demi have giving Joe a chance in the start of tour where they fooled around untill Ashley came along then Joe became different…
i just don’t like this new Joe very much …..
DEmi should seriously start cleaning up her act. what she did to Joe was down right unfair he even gave her a shout out and she just walked away and not even a smile in his direction!! she should move on just like Joe did. and if she cant except the fact that Joe moved on then its her loss. i agree that Joe shouldnt have brought Ashley to the concerts but even then what happened to the comment on her twitter page ‘Joe and i did break up but we’ll still be friends’ yeah i dont see that happening. i used to be a huge fan of demi but ever since she started acting like this im not such a big fan anymore :/
Um, first of all, how would you feel if an ex started being his new gf around after a month from a breakup? Not to mention that his new gf likes to show that she’s Joe’s girlfriend right into Demi’s face. Demi has every right to be upset, and evry right to ignore Joe and Ashley. Probably the only one who’s actually being a gentleman and being Demi’s friend on tour is Nick. Everyone else, well, they unfollowed her, made her feel alone, and her haters are bashing her like, almost every single day. Demi has every right to do what she did, and I’m happy that at least she has one friend on tour. Thank you Nick Jonas!
It wasn’t just Mexico. I went to the one in California (Shoreline Amphitheater, more than a month ago) and there was just as much tension. Joe even did some kind of friendly gesture (a hug maybe? idk) towards her at the end but she just ignored him and stormed off stage. It was really awkward to watch. But yeah the tension’s been here for a while.
Just my opinion, but I think Demi’s the one being unfair here. Everyone’s like, “Oh Joe broke up with Demi because they were too public, but he’s being more public with Ashley.” That’s not exactly true. Joe broke up with Demi because SHE was being too public to the media about the RELATIONSHIP. Every chance she would get, she would gush about their relationship and being in love and I guess he actually didn’t like her as much as she liked him. Demi even confessed she pressured Joe into asking her out (there’s some interview somewhere, go find it yourself). Otherwise, Joe and Demi were seen together just as much as Joe and Ashley are now. If you look at “Jashley,” neither side has said a word about their relationship, even though they have been seen together.
