Actress Lea Thompson, who played Marty McFly’s mom in “Back To The Future,” has been added to the cast of the new ABC Family Channel Original Series “Switched At Birth.” Lea will play one of the lead characters’ mother, while the other main characters’ mom will be played by actress Constance Marie.
In the show both moms find out that their daughters were mistakenly switched at birth at the hospital before being taken home.
The show is set to air on the ABC Family Channel in 2011.
Taylor Swift recently spoke with Us Magazine about marriage and kids. When asked if she felt any pressure to get married, Taylor answered:
Not really. Not as far as anything in the immediate or general future. I’m not opposed to it. I just don’t think about it! [Laughs.] I don’t focus on pining away for love, because I’m focused on being happy with what’s happening right now.
So what about kids? Is that something Taylor wants?
Oh, well, kids, yes! Later in life, definitely. I’d love to get to a place where I could do what my mom did. But let’s say I’m 30 and still touring: I wouldn’t want to have a family, because I couldn’t balance it. But I really have no idea about the future. It’s so unexpected. Trust me!
As long as Taylor’s happy that’s all that matters!
Sofia Vergara, who stars on ABC’s “Modern Family,” is one of the latest celebrities to be photographed for the “Got Milk?” campaign. In the new ad Sofia is pictured next to her son, Manolo.
Here is what the copy on the advertisement reads:
“Family favorite. I love being a mom and doing what it takes to build a strong, modern family — like serving my little boy milk. It has nutrients like protein and potassium that have helped him become, well, not so little.
What do you think of Sofia’s new ad?
PS – Did you tune in for the Halloween-themed episode of “Modern Family”? So funny!
Jorge Garcia, one of our favorite actors from ABC’s show “LOST,” took to his blog to let everyone know that he and his girlfriend Beth have adopted two super adorable puppies into their home! The pups are named Smidge (left) and Pip (right) and they are the cutest things we have ever seen!

Congratulations to Jorge and Beth on the new additions to their family!

Rascal Flatts, who up until recently were signed to Disney’s Lyric Street Records, released a new song today called “I Wont Let Go.” Above is the new single cover art for the track, which was put out by Big Machine Records – the same company that puts out Taylor Swift’s music, including her latest album “Speak Now.”
Disney had planned on keeping Rascal Flatts on another one of their labels, either Hollywood Records or Walt Disney Records, but the group decided to move away from Disney – what do you think about this?
Have you heard the new Rascal Flatts song? You can check it out below!
