The Disney Channel has just added yet another show to it’s live-action lineup called “A.N.T. Farm.” The show will begin production in 2011 and will star actress China McClain from “House of Payne.”
China will play the character Chyna Sparks, who is middle-school-aged, but is great at music and gets into a gifted program, Accelerated Natural Talent, at a local high school. Chyna and her fellow “ANTS” must now learn to go to a high school in which kids who skip grades aren’t exactly welcomed by the other students!
Other actors in the show include:
- Sierra McCormik (“Ramona and Beezus”)
- Jake Short (“Dexter”)
- Stefanie Scott (“Flipped”)
The “A.N.T. Farm” pilot was written by Dan Signer (“The Suite Life on Deck”) and directed by Bob Koherr (“Hannah Montana,” “Wizards of Waverly Place”).
This is great. Can’t wait to see it.

I saw the preview to this show and it looks really good!!! Can’t wait to watch it!! And I personally think Jake short is adorable, and China McClain is so talented…two thumbs up!! Haha I’m 13 and watching this!!
