Happy Birthday Walt Disney, Born December 5, 1901

Walter Elias Disney (Walt) was born on December 5, 1901 to parents Elias and Flora. The name Elias came from Walt’s great-grandfather Arundel Elias Disney.

Walt Disney was best known for his TV shows, classic Disney films and dreaming up the idea of two Disney theme parks. Walt co-founded Walt Disney Productions with his older brother Roy Oliver Disney.

Sadly Walt Disney passed away on December 15, 1966 of lung cancer in Burbank, California. Today would have been Walt’s 109th birthday.

   Just seen “Walt – The Man Behind The Myth” for the 2nd time on CNBC.

   Very enjoyable documentary.

   I am sure there is much more that can be written about Walt Disney.

   I would like to see Walt – The Man Behind The Myth Part 2 or Walt Disney’s life story made into a full feature movie similar to Chaplin or Patton.
