Billy Ray Cyrus Comments On Miley Cyrus’ Shocking Video
TMZ has a video of Miley Cyrus doing some things that have gotten people talking about whether or not she is stable, or even still a role model.
Miley’s father Billy Ray Cyrus took to Twitter to release what we’re assuming is a statement about his daughters actions:
Sorry guys. I had no idea. Just saw this stuff for the first time myself. Im so sad. There is much beyond my control right now.

I Love Miley.She’s an awesome gal to look up to and it’s been that way since day 1 but since her parents divorce after 17 years it’s put her driving on the wrong road
You know what i think, i think you should all leave her alone! have yall seen the people who are 18, it is much worse and just because she is in the spotlight you zoom in all the mistakes and completely ignore the good things, i mean seriously she’s made mistakes but one thing i have learned is that you learn from all your mistakes, and she is still a kid learning from her experiences. She is going through a hard time now and thats not a fair judgment, i know im only 12 but that dosnt mean i cant stand up for someone who has helped me through my hard times, and if that someone makes a mistake you completely forget everything else she has done! come on people has this world turned into a planet full of hatred! I’m not saying she made the best decision in the world, BUT! Let’s remember that the substance being smoked was LEGAL! She is 18 years old and is legally an adult. During her time with Disney, every ounce of her life was controlled by her parents and obviously, Disney. Granted, stardom was her choice, but Miley was unable to have a normal childhood. Because of this, it doesn’t surprise me that she wants to experiment with her newfound freedom. Most kids begin experimenting with alcohol and marijuana in highschool. If Miley was a normal girl, she’d be entering college right now. The majority of college students drink alcohol on the weekends, or even more often. I did/do, and will be graduating with a Master’s Degree this coming May. Does this make me a bad person? No. So why is it any different for her? Now I don’t know Miley personally, but from watching/reading her interviews she seems extremely mature for her age. She’s obviously not putting the party scene before her career which leads me to believe that she’s got a great head on her shoulders. I completely understand why her young Hannah Montana fans are upset, but Miley has been done with Disney for over a year now. She’s attempting to appeal to a completely different age group and I thinking leaving Disney was the best thing she could have done for herself and for her career. This video does NOT make her a bad person whatsoever. It just means that she’s enjoying her freedom and being a young adult. Quit judging and let her live her dang life!

For those of you that are sticking up for Miley, just give it a rest! I mean, c’mon! She did bad actions, that is not somthing you reward… and just because she is famous and under pressure and 18 is not an excuse. Wow… just wow…
If I was her parents I would tell them to stop hanging around her dumb friends. And maybe she did this because of the pressure of her parents’ divorce and her break-up with liam and being famous. either way, i’m not supporting this and what she’s doing but i still love her. i hope this is only a one-time thing for her. i would also like to say a least is was legal. (they say its salvia) And there are kids who are smoking worse, illegal things
I think she’s just so annoing now i use to really like her I thought that she was going to not be a dumb a** but i guess I was wrong I mean It’s not even the fact that she smoked(But that still was a stupid move)It’s the fact that she let herself be recorded and It kills me how PEOPLE try to justify It by saying the video was stolen or tken without her knowing THAT DOES NOT MATTER!!!!
