Did Leonardo DiCaprio Break Up Zac Efron And Vanessa Hudgens?
It is being reported that Leonardo DiCaprio may have something to do with the split of Zac Efron and girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens. Apparently Leonardo told Zac that the best thing for his career was to stay away from his Disney “High School Musical” image, and Zac figured that meant he had to distance himself from Vanessa because she was his co-star in the Disney franchise.

Zac is very much following Leo’s way to the top if he can and listens to his advice all the time. It was Leo who said Zac needed to get away from his High School Musical image if he wants to be taken seriously and Zac appears to have taken that to extremes. No one ever thought him and Vanessa splitting was on the cards.

If leonardo did something to split of Zanessa, I will feel angry. But if Zac broke up Vanessa with other reasons(excluding love triangle), I will feel better.

If Leo is the reason for the break up, some people are going to hate him now! This break up was kinda shocking! I was kind of sad in a way. Does Zac really think that spliting from Vanessa makes him get away from HSM? I don’t care what an actor does to get away from an image, but you know that they are always going to be known for that. It’s like with John Travolta he will always be known for Grease and Saturday night fever.I think it’s funny because Zac’s career would be nowhere without HSM. Zac once said that he doesn’t plan on getting married and if he does, not till 40. I guess it was smart for him to break up if their relationship would never go anywhere. I think that future young actors should learn from this, never date your co-star who plays your love interest.

if this is the reason, than i dunno if i like zac as much anymore. they were perfect together and if zac thinks his career is more important than vanessa, he needs some counciling.
Zac is a dumb a** for following leo’s advice and also not understanding exactly what leo meant. He should have moved on from high school musical, but kept Vanessa. ZAC, NO MORE TAKING ADVICE FROM LEO! TAKE YOUR OWN ADVICE, OKAY?…what a dumb decision! >:(
If, judging by his own actions, Leo’s advice to Zac is to make himself as unattractive as possible, ditch his female fans and refuse any feel-good, romantic roles, then, it’s bad advice. Leo and Heath Ledger did just that and lost half their audiences. What is wrong with an actor/actress using ALL of their gifts to reach all types of audiences?? If Zac wants to follow someone’s lead, how about Johnny Depp? He is one of the best, most versatile, most loved actors of our time!! He appeals to everyone by always being willing to tackle any kind of role and never comes off as insecure about being taken seriously – he doesn’t need to down-play his good looks and sexiness!
