My son (36) and I (62) visited Disneyland Tues 12/28/10. He was visiting from London and had been looking forward to this day for some time. We flew from San Jose after he arrived in the bay area. We were very disappointed to find the park so filled with guests that it impacted our enjoyment. Despite fast passes and many hours spent in the park we were only able to get on a few rides. The streets and walkways were so crowded that we spent much of our time just trying to negotiate the crowds. Not pleasant. The time spent in lines, waiting to see the parade or Color Show at California World tired me out to the point that I lost all my enthusiasm. My suggestion is that the capacity be reduced to an even lower number than was allowed in and that somehow tickets could be pre sold for a particular day ahead of time with the assurance that the crowds would not be so large as to make the day at Disneyland seem like some sort of punishment rather than the fun day Walt intended it to be. I can appreciate the difficulty of making changes but really feel it is a turn off to people to spend their time and money and then be so disappointed.
