Not only did Rolling Stone magazine claim that Nick Jonas’ solo album with his band The Administration was a musical disaster this year, they have also stated that Justin Bieber’s single “Pray” was a disaster as well. Here’s what the publication had to say about Justin’s heartfelt song:
“Just what you needed: Bieber decides to offer a little wisdom about how to solve the world’s problems, and it’s the same solution MC Hammer offered 20 years ago. (And look how well it worked out for him.) People praying got us into this mess, Biebz. And the live AMAs performance looked exactly like Russell Brand’s ‘African Child’ video in Get Him To The Greek — except that was supposed to be funny. Say it loud, Bieber: ‘I’m a white African Jesus from space!’”
We honestly think that’s a bit harsh. Justin’s song has inspired a lot of his fans to do good deeds in their communities and for the world. Do you agree with Rolling Stone?

yes for me its yes
I’m no fanatic about Justin bieber but this is way way to harsh! Pray was a really inspiring song and a nice break from his usual love related songs. I understand if they don’t like the song but what they wrote was way too much! Don’t listen to what they say because pray is a truly good song and everyone should listen to it.
I think that everyone is entitled to have there own views, but I personaly think that the song touched many people and thatit was a great song. No matter what, I think that me and the rest of the beliebers around the world will always surpport him in what ever he decideds to do in life!!
xx
it was. everything about him sucks
ok, normally i hate beiber and his songs, but this one is acually vary touching and sweet. its nice to c him sing about something that matters for once
I love pray. It’s a song that just totally touches your heart. Especially the video. When your listening to this song you have to watch the video. But just warnin you. You might cry:( I love Yuh Justin Bieber <33
They’re WRONG! This song is very touching and the video is VERY WELL made and i’m glad Justin is helping people. LOVE U JUSTIN! <3
No I disagree with Rolling Stone , look what has happen : good deeds. At least the song inspired something good. What does Rolling Stone want? For people not to help the children, soliders, homeless etc.?
that is COMPLETELY untrue and a terribly, overly harsh thing to say.
Justin’s song Pray is beautiful and inspiring, how dare the magazine publish such a piece, that is utterly disgusting!
Ok what are you thinking “Pray” is an amazing song. It is teaching people to pray. And im sorry but how does praying ever wreck anything or get you into any mess. Praying is an amazing thing and the only reason those things happened was because they were meant to happen for whatever reason. They could have happened so people realized that praying is a good thing and the incident could have taught people to pray more. This song is definitely teaching a good lesson not a bad one. You dont even know how many people this song has inspired for them to do good. I think to say that this song is “bad” is a huge mistake. You can have an opinion that you dont like the tune or something but to say the message is bad, thats just a mistake and very hurtful and harsh.
So Rolling Stone is bias and does not like Justin Bieber! Why dont they write about someone they DO like? Oh sorry, they only like themselves! Maybe those Stones should just keep Rolling till they hit rock bottom!
I thought the Internet was just a “democratic sewerage pipe”, but now i think the “mainstream media” is just the same!
Normally, I wouldn’t like Bieber, but I heard this song today and it really struck a chord in me. The people at Rolling Stone are obviously bitter about something-or-other, and Bieber was the only target they could think of to direct it at. It wasn’t just harsh, it was completely irrelevant. I doubt they even really listened to the song.
Well that was rude, harsh, and un called for, I mean sure everyone is entitlted to their own opinons, but don’t you think that was a little bit to far?
