Today, December 24, 2010, is the 40th anniversary of the release of Disney’s “The Aristocats” movie – which is why we have added it to our 25 Days of Disney products list!
The animated movie is about a mother cat, named Duchess, and her three kittens, Toulouse, Berlioz and Marie, who are catnapped by a greedy butler named Edgar. Edgar hopes that he will get the inheritance left to the family of cats by their owner.
The mother cat and her kittens meet Thomas O’Malley, an alley cat who tries to rescue them, but as with all Disney movies there are many misadventures that the group of cats goes on before they are able to get home!

“The Aristocats” was the first feature-length animated cartoon from the Disney studio completed without Walt Disney.
