Disney Pixar “Toy Story” Book “Play-cation” Based On “Toy Story” Short
Amazon.com has added a listing for a new “Toy Story” book titled “Play-cation!” Here is the description of the book:
“Bonnie is off to Hawaii, and Barbie and Ken are excited to go along on their first tropical vacation! But when they’re accidentally left behind, it’s up to Buzz, Woody, and the rest of the toys to create a Hawaiian paradise right in Bonnie’s room. Based on the latest animated short featuring the toys from Disney/Pixar Toy Story, this full-color storybook includes punch-out postcards that girls and boys ages 3-7 will love sending to their friends!”
It was previously announced that the new “Toy Story” short, “Hawaii,” which is set to run before Disney/Pixar’s movie “Cars 2,” would be about Ken and Barbie vacationing in Hawaii. So it seems as if Amazon has just let the cat out of the bag and told “Toy Story” fans exactly what will be happening in the new short!
The book will be released on August 9, 2011 while “Cars 2″ is racing to theaters on June 24, 2011.
