ABC Comedy “Suburgatory”

ABC has greenlit a new half-hour comedy show titled “Suburgatory.” The show is both written and produced by Emily Kapnek (“Hung”).

In “Subrgatory” a girl from New York City moves to a cookie-cutter community in the suburbs only to realize that it’s a very frightening place compared to what she assumed the neighborhood would be like.

Hmm…sounds promising, but we can’t wait to hear more about the plot!

  1. I just saw the pilot episode. I want to line every single one of the characters up and administer a heavy handed slapping.

There is not one ounce of believability, likeability, or entertainment value to this piece of rubbish. There is nothing remotely resembling ‘suburban’ life (unless the writers are seeking to portray some vacuous Beverly Hills suburban existence). I endured the entire monstrosity hoping, wishing, and praying that it would get better. However, it painfully swan dove off the top of the ABC building and belly-flopped to its death.

Frankly, as a suburbanite I am EXTREMELY insulted and implore you to keep this abomination off the air for the good of mankind.

  2. I saw the preview and I think it will be entertaining. It’s a half hour entertainment show, not reality t.v. we are so used to. Cheryl Hines and Jeremy Sisto are great and they work well together so I’m looking forward to the show.
