Will Smith is reportedly planning on remaking the movie “Annie,” and he would like to put his daughter Willow Smith in the lead role as little orphan Annie. Will is set to develop the movie along with his company Overbrook Entertainment and Sony. It is also being reported that Jay-Z may create original music for the film.

There is no word yet on if the movie would be set in modern times, or if it would be identical to the “Annie” we all know and love.
