Selena Gomez revealed during a recent interview that when she was younger she was told by a casting director that she wouldn’t be able to carry her own show because she wasn’t a strong enough actress. Yikes! Looks like Selena proved them wrong!
When I was 11, I had a casting director say to me, ‘You’re not strong enough to carry your own show. You’re not strong enough to be part of the Disney Channel.’ I cried all the time afterwards but I just kept on working hard. Whenever you have a goal, whether you want to be a doctor or a singer, people will find a way to bring you down. I always tell people that if you have something you’re really passionate about, don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t do it.
Selena always has the best advice!

Hi!
Well, actually, I have a really big dream that is a hollywood actor. But it’s simple in comparison with my situation, because I’m brazilian, so I guess my chances are really harder.
But that’s why Selena Gomez is my biggest idol! I like to follow her steps!
And, being as hardest as possible, I’ll do exactly as she says: “…if you have something you’re really passionate about, don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t do it.”
Thanks Selena! I guess you won’t read this comment, even because it’s not your website, but thanks anyway! I wish you the best for the rest of your life!
Sorry! I said wrong in my last comment!! My dream is TO BE a hollywood actor!
Sorry!
