The Disney Channel has announced a new pilot show titled “Austin & Ally.” Currently the show stars actors Ross Lynch, Laura Marano and Raini Rodriguez (sister of Rico Rodriguez from ABC’s “Modern Family”). The show is set to begin production this February and was created and executive produced by Kevin Kopelow and Heath Seifert, who also worked on the following shows:
- “Good Burger”
- “Keenan & Kel”
- “Sonny With A Chance”
- “JONAS”
“Austin & Ally” will be a multi-camera comedy that follows the unlikely friendship between two polar opposites, Austin [Ross Lynch], an extrovert, musician/singer, and Ally [Laura Marano], a super smart, but shy, songwriter, and their two best friends, Trish [Raini Rodriguez] and Dex [yet to be cast]. Austin and Dex take one of Ally’s songs, record it, create a video, and post it on the internet. Austin becomes a local sensation and Trish convinces Ally to tell the world she wrote the song while Austin begs her to write another hit for him. The two decide to combine their talents.

this show sounds really wierd and stupid! shake it up was bad enough. disney’s classics like hannah montana, suite life,etc are ending and now they’re making all these awful shows! grr

ok so i went and i saw a taping of this! it was AWESOME!!!! for all you people who dont think this will be a good/funny show, i can tell you that it will be awesome. everyone was cast perfectly and i wouldnt change a thing. i hope i can go to another taping, and im sad that we have to wait till december to see it on tv.
I saw the premier of it a couple of weeks ago im in love with it already it’s awesome!
the show “austin&ally” is actually pretty cool. i want to be in ally’s place. i would totally DIE to be in her place. the show is a perfect add on to disney channel. the moment i first saw the show, i was in love with it<3 and i was also in love with austin moon (ross lynch)<3. the likes about the show is that its funny,creative, and Ross Lynch is in it. the dislikes about it is they need more songs, more episodes, and to cut off ally and have re-auditions. ally NEEDS to be cut off and have auditions for people who would LOVE to be around Ross Lynch. also because she sucks at acting. no offense to ally (laura marano).
I think Ross is so hot!! He my be dumb on the show but he is awesome in real life you don’t have to be rude if you are or are not jelous or even if love him ps his real name is not Austin moon
I love austin he so cute. Who wouldn’t like austin. Ally is cool. She has great fashion. Or if she does not pick her close out. Then all her close make her look good.
