Disney/Pixar has just introduced a new character, Raoul CaRoule. We will get to meet the character in the upcoming animated movie “Cars 2,” which is racing into theaters on June 24th.
Here is the description of the new character from Disney/Pixar:
“Known as the ‘World’s Greatest Rally Car,’ #6 Raoul ÇaRoule was born in Alsace, France. Raoul is confident he can use his rally experience to pull ahead of his fellow World Grand Prix racers during the three courses’ touchy dirt sections, especially with his fans in the stands waving banners that read: ‘ÇaRoule Ca-Rules!’”
The Disney Channel has announced a new pilot show titled “Austin & Ally.” Currently the show stars actors Ross Lynch, Laura Marano and Raini Rodriguez (sister of Rico Rodriguez from ABC’s “Modern Family”). The show is set to begin production this February and was created and executive produced by Kevin Kopelow and Heath Seifert, who also worked on the following shows:
- “Good Burger”
- “Keenan & Kel”
- “Sonny With A Chance”
- “JONAS”
“Austin & Ally” will be a multi-camera comedy that follows the unlikely friendship between two polar opposites, Austin [Ross Lynch], an extrovert, musician/singer, and Ally [Laura Marano], a super smart, but shy, songwriter, and their two best friends, Trish [Raini Rodriguez] and Dex [yet to be cast]. Austin and Dex take one of Ally’s songs, record it, create a video, and post it on the internet. Austin becomes a local sensation and Trish convinces Ally to tell the world she wrote the song while Austin begs her to write another hit for him. The two decide to combine their talents.

A new episode of “Pretty Little Liars” will air on ABC Family on January 31st at 8pm ET/PT. The new episode is titled “If At First You Don’t Succeed, Lie, Lie Again.”
In the episode the girls are trying to regain a sense of normalcy in their lives, but there seems to be drama everywhere they turn. Emily has to deal with a jealous teammate (Lindsey Shaw) who is threatened by Emily’s return to the pool, while Aria and Ezra plan their first date out in the open. Meanwhile, Hanna is stuck playing “A’s” game.
Also in the episode, Spender turns to Ali’s brother, Jason, for information about the night they believe Alison died, only to have to face part of her unpleasant past with Ali.

If you are a fan of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” you know that the show begins at 12:05 rather than midnight exactly, but that’s changing as of February 4th. ABC will shorten the “Nightline” program by five minutes in order to make this happen.
The move is taking place in the hopes that as viewers flip through the channels to see what’s on they will stop when they see “Jimmy” rather than continue on to other channels if “Nightline” looks to still be on for the midnight hour.
