A new installment of “Winter Next X” will premiere on Disney XD on January 31, 2011 at 4pm ET/PT. In the show, four talented athletes get the chance to learn from the pros. Professional Winter X Games athletes Sarah Burke and Danny Kass will mentor the young competitors in their chosen sport. The winner of the “Winter Next X” season will get to showcase their skills at the Winter X Games 15.
After the premiere, new episodes will air daily throughout the week, culminating in a 15-minute special that will chronicle the athletes’ quest for the title of “Winter Next X,” airing February 7th at 9pm ET/PT.
Here are the amateur competitors:
11-year-old Birk Irving, a skier from Winter Park, Colorado who placed first in Halfpipe and second in Slopestyle at the 2010 USASA National Championship and has placed first in Rocky Mountain King of the Grommets for the past two years in a row.
13-year-old Nik Baden, a snowboarder from Steamboat Springs, Colorado who was the USASA Menehune Boys Overall National Champion at the 2010 USASA Nationals, where he also took home the gold medal in Slopestyle. In 2010, he placed third at the US Open Junior Division in Halfpipe.
12-year-old Sasha Johnstone, a skier from Jackson Hole, Wyoming who placed first in Halfpipe at the 2010 Jackson Hole USASA competition and fourth in Slopestyle at the 2010 USASA National Championship at Copper Mountain.
10-year-old Redmond Gerard, a snowboarder from Frisco, Colorado who placed first in the 2010 Red Bull Buttercup rail event in Winter Park, Colorado.

Songwriter Diane Warren, who has written songs for Cher, Celine Dion, Aerosmith and Toni Braxton has also recently written a song for Justin Bieber, to be included in his upcoming movie “Never Say Never.” The song is titled “Born To Be Somebody.”
During an interview, Diane called the song “beautiful,” which we have no doubt about! We can’t wait to watch “Never Say Never” when it arrives in theaters on February 11th. What about you?

Here are two new images released for Disney/Pixar’s “Cars 2″ movie. The animated movie is set to release to theaters on June 24, 2011.
In the first photo you can see characters Finn McMissile, Mater and Lightning McQueen. While in the second picture you can again see Mater with the character Holley Shiftwell.
