Disney’s “Oz: The Great And Powerful” is rumored to be filming in Michigan. The movie will be a prequel to the classic movie “The Wizard of Oz” and will be directed by Sam Raimi. It is expected that Johnny Depp will play the lead role of Oz, after actor Robert Downey Jr. dropped out of the movie.
The movie may film at the new production studio in Pontiac, which recently won approval for a $40-million tax credit that comprises more than 60% of all credits for 26 projects approved in the last six months of last year.
A movie has applied to the Michigan Film Office for a tax credit recently, however the film’s title has not been revealed. However, the production company was listed as Emerald City Films. Emerald City is the capital of the fictional Oz. Do you think the movie is “Oz: The Great and Powerful“?

A new episode of “Greek” will be airing on ABC Family on January 31st at 9pm ET/PT titled “Home Coming And Going.” In the episode, directed by Patrick Norris and written by Adam Milch, Cappie and Rusty feel the pressure to impress KT alum Lasker Parkes (Jonathan Silverman), and his son, Peter, who is pledging the fraternity. The two work together to plan the Homecoming party, which Cappie calls “Everest.” But, will the “Everest” party be able to outdo the Vesuvius party?
Also in the episode, Casey tries to convince Ashleigh to find a job and move out, but Ashleigh doesn’t want to! The two BFFs end up in a fight, which causes Casey to fall prey to Rebecca’s plan to distract her so that she can take the rest of the ZBZ’s to the forbidden KT party.
In addition, Rusty wants to be Peter’s big brother, even though Peter asked Cappie to do the honor. Rusty works to impress him by doing what Peter’s father never could, stealing the CRU Homecoming rival’s mascot. But, Dale has the same idea too – only for Omega Chi!
