David Archuleta Comments On Being Dropped From Jive Records
American Idol contestant David Archuleta was recently dropped from the Jive Records label. David took to Twitter to assure his fans that his career will continue to move in the right direction for him, saying:
Hey guys, just want to let you know you fans are awesome haha. Just want to let you know I am excited for the opportunities aheadThanks for the support you continue to show! Means a lot. Just wanted to check in let you know things are going where I feel they should.
Good! We can’t wait to hear more music from David!

As a fan of David, I will always support him. He is an awesome talent, but is also humble; has excellent work ethics; and is very considerate of his fans. We love him and wish him nothing but the best. David is the “real deal”.
Released. Not dropped. There is most definitively a difference between the two. Thank-you!
Can’t wait to hear more from David as well. Can’t wait for more music from him and more live shows. His 3 albums were amazing. I hope he finds a label that does their job better and is more supportive. His parting with them wasn’t a surprise though. His contract was just up.

David is an amazingly talented singer & songwriter! He was released from Jive not dropped. He will find another label that will appreciate him for the great talent he is! Love him!!
David will be around for a long time. His voice is one in a million and new opportunites await him..So exciting to see whats in store for him next. This fan isn’t going anywhere and hope a tour is in the plannning stages real soon.
