Billy Ray Cyrus Says He Never Made Money Off Of Daughter Miley Cyrus
During his detailed interview with GQ magazine, in which he spoke about the Disney Channel Original Series “Hannah Montana” tearing apart his family, Billy Ray Cyrus also spoke about how he has never made any money off of his daughter, and “Hannah Montana” show star, Miley Cyrus. Here’s what Billy Ray revealed:
For the record, to set it straight, I want to tell you: I’ve never made a dime off of Miley. You got a lot of people have made percentages off of her. I’m proud to say to this day I’ve never made one commissioned dollar, or dime, off of my daughter.

Well let see the show Hannah Montana, which was miley show, could have casted anyone for her dad. Billy Ray was casted as Hannah’s dad. And unless he worked for free all 4 seasons than he made money off the show that starred his daughter. Simple reasoning he made money off of Miley.
They hired him to do a job! He could have played the father role whether Miley was cast or not. Disney decided to cast him and pay him. Miley did not do that so he did not profit from her.
