James Van Der Beek In ABC’s “Apartment 23″ TV Show

James Van Der Beek will play himself in the upcoming ABC comedy pilot titled “Apartment 23.” The show will star actress Dreama Walker as the character June who travels from the Midwest to New York and moves in with a party girl named Chloe (played by Krysten Ritter) and has to deal with the consequences.

James will play Chloe’s best friend.

“Apartment 23″ was written by Nahnatchka Khan, who will also executive produce alongside Dave Hemingson. While Jason Winer will direct.
