Disney’s “Mars Needs Moms” Playing At The El Capitan Theatre
Walt Disney Pictures upcoming movie “Mars Needs Moms,” which will arrive in theaters nationwide on March 11, 2011, will be playing at the El Capitan Theatre in California for a special engagement from March 11 – April 21, 2011.
Lylle Breier, the Senior Vice President of Worldwide Special Events for Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, said about the movie running at the theater:
We are thrilled to welcome Disney’s hilarious feature ‘Mars Needs Moms’ to the El Capitan Theatre, and give our guests the kind of adventure they just can’t get anywhere else. In addition to seeing the movie in sparkling Disney Digital 3DTM, our El Capitan guests will have a one of a kind opportunity to experience a special exhibit from NASA and JPL, bringing them into the world of this film as only the El Capitan can!

I had the good fortune of seeing this at the LA Premiere and it far surpassed my expectations. This film has been poorly marketed and I think people will be very surprised and hopefully word-of-mouth with make up for the bad marketing. The film looks amazing artistically and technically. Hats off to ImageMovers and it’s really unfortunate that Disney was so short-sighted and shut them down without giving them a chance. My kids (5, 10 and 13) all LOVED the film and want to see it again which is a rare thing. Moms will especially appreciate and enjoy the message. Great film, go see it!
