Debby Ryan, who currently stars on the hit Disney Channel Original Series “The Suite Life On Deck,” will soon be getting her own shown on the network called “Jessie.” In the show, Debby will play an au pair who moves from Texas to New York to take care of a wealthy family’s four children. Get ready for “Jessie” to premiere on the Disney Channel in the Fall.
Not only does this news mean Debby is headlining her own show on the Disney Channel, it also means she will most likely be getting into music a lot more since each of the show headliners for Disney (Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, Jonas Brothers) are well-known for their acting as well as their music. Also, it probably means the Disney Channel Original Series “The Suite Life On Deck” will not be renewed for another season, but we’ll keep you posted!

I cannot wait to watch the show! I have started to really get annoyed w/ Disney Channel shows but this story sounds really good! Other than the part about the imaginary friend and pet, whatever it is!

The suit life was good until they got onto that ship and the brothers got older. When they got older, they got extremely annoying and I couldn’t even stand their voices or acting (cough cough Cody). I’m glad the show is over because they just got way too old for their parts. Hopefully Jessie will be good, though I seriously doubt it. Ant farm is a major let down (who names their kid china?) also every other Disney channel star is either on drugs or an over achiever. I sound like a hater, I’m sorry but that’s just an honest opinion.
This show sounds amazing! I’m thinking about going to audition for Anabel. I can’t wait to watch the show even if i don’t get the part. Debby Ryan is an amazing actress and really deserves this role on a new show.
Jessie doesn’t sound much fun! I love Debby but the show is about just babysitting, it sounds a little annoying, but you never know you might be surprised!!

How can i be in the show called Jessie?
I never heard of Debbie Ryan until I started watching her new show Jesse. My children and I are major fans and watch every day. We have seen all the episodes and On Demand it daily. It is a great show with great writers. I am very proud of the diversity the show has as its about time we see a show with such flare and diversity. I am just not sure why they are only a few episodes to view. I will continue to watch the reruns and anxiously awaiting new episodes. Thank you Disney.
Jessie is the only Disney show my son begs me to change! I must agree with his taste from the theme song, cheesy laugh track, and terrible acting Jessie is a huge let down. I get the impression it was thrown together quickly after the cancelation of Suite Life On Deck. We love your other shows: Phieneas and Ferb, ANT Farm, and Good Luck Charlie are right on!
