Miley Cyrus’ “Every Rose Has Its Thorn” Will Release As A Single This Year
According to artist Bret Michaels, Miley Cyrus will be releasing her cover of his song “Every Rose Has Its Thorn” later this year. The song was set to release back when Miley’s “Can’t Be Tamed” album dropped, but the tabloids began reporting that Miley’s mom Tish Cyrus may have had an affair with Bret, ultimately leading to Tish’s husband Billy Ray Cyrus filing for divorce (which he has now decided not to go through with).
Here’s what Bret revealed about “Every Rose Has Its Thorn,”
The record label was supposed have to this huge humongous release of ‘Every Rose.’ It was going to be Miley’s next-step song, but because of that [the affair rumors], they stepped back. It really bummed me out. I worked hard on that.
Are you excited Miley’s version of “Every Rose Has Its Thorn” will release as a single soon?

I don’t really get it. What’s the point of releasing the song as a single when it has been available for a year already? At least I’ve had it for a year on my iPod now.
Don’t get me wrong – I love the song And it’s one of my favorites, but I don’t understand why releasing as a big single when it’s already been released.
