David Archuleta posted a new video blog about what he’s been up to lately. One thing he’s been working on is finding a new band! Exciting! Here’s what David posted along with the video below:
“Letting you guys know about the band auditions and meetings that have been going on aside from the NASCAR and blimp rides while in LA haha. Been keeping busy with that but really looking forward to how it’s going to come about. Can’t wait to get everything set up and to start performing again! Also came up with a little idea on the piano during the blog but I guess I’m a little too self-conscious in front of people and can’t multi task when it comes to writing and blogs… both things I am self-conscious about lol. Apologize if this blog doesn’t make a lot of sense but hope you enjoy it still.”

I love this blog and love hearing even that little bit of David singing. I’m pretty excited that he’s exploring different styles and taking control of choosing his own band. Very exciting. That bass riff sounded good when he was singing with it.

Can’t wait to see David on Tour -Big Deal about Freedom Stadium of Fire in Prov. Utah on July 2, 2011! He will be Headling along side Brad Paisley! Also Big event 60th Sun Fun Festival on May 28th in Myrtle Beach, SC great events. This is only the start for tour dates! More to come!!!! Love that he is moving forward as not just an American Idol runner-up! He is working towards a long career, not a flash in the pan! He is the greatest artist I have ever followed! So talented, humble and the real deal!!!
