Disney To Work With Carat And Publicis Groupe For Advertising
According to Advertising Age the Walt Disney Company will be working with Carat and Publicis Groupe to market its company. The two companies will split Disney’s $1 billion media account, with Carat promoting the parks and resorts and Publicis promoting the studio, home entertainment and video games.
We think it’s interesting that Disney has decided to work with two separate advertising companies, and we find it equally interesting that after being around for so many years Disney doesn’t have a larger in-house advertising department.

They do have an in house advertising group, and that group handles the creative development for the ads. These advertising agencies work on strategy and media planning and buying, making sure that the correct audiences are being marketed to.
