On May 7, 2011 the premiere of Walt Disney Pictures “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” will take place at the Disneyland Resort, which means that the park has had to close five attractions in order to prepare for the event.

Here are the attractions that have been temporarily shut down (until May 12):

- Sailing Ship Columbia
- Mark Twain Riverboat
- Tom Sawyer’s Island
- Davy Crockett’s Explorer Canoes
- Fantasmic! (resuming May 14)
