Hilary Duff has written a sequel to her hit novel “Elixir” titled “Devoted.” Above is the book cover – what do you think?
“Devoted” will arrive on book shelves on October 11th and continues the story of the main character from “Elixir,” Clea Raymond.
Did you read Hilary’s “Elixir”? Was it good enough that you plan on picking up a copy of “Devoted”?
I’m actually reading “Elixir” now, even though I bought it last year in october:/ I love it, and I’m going to buy “Devoted” as well! Love Hil x

My thought as I finished the book was “She better write a sequel!” LOL! It was a great book. I read it all in 1 night!
I loved “Elixir”. Hilary definitely surprised me with this book. I hope the “Devoted” will answer some of my unanswered questions.
I actually didn’t like “Elixir” that much. I’m very into literature and writing as a kind of art and “Elixir” just didn’t convince me. It was written in very easy english, so I got it a the first time I read it (I’m german^^)… I don’t really like her style of writing. :/ And the story is confusing and strange. I’m not convinced of Clea being 16 or 17 years old. The characters in the book are odd in general. It’s not fantastic enough to be Fantasy but it’s also not real enough to be Reality.
I dont’t think I would read “Devoted” although I love Hilary; I think she’s a great person!
I loved the book, i cried at the end and i love the way all of the different cleas looked just a little different and i loved your imagination with all of their stories and the details, it all made the book epic. love your signing and acting your the awsomest person ever.
