HGTV “My Yard Goes Disney” TV Series
There is a new TV series coming to HGTV on June 6th called “My Yard Goes Disney.” Six episodes have been filmed and they will run one per week. The series is hosted by R. BranDon Johnson.
Disney Parks teamed with HGTV for the series, which surprises one family each week with an over the top backyard makeover inspired by Disney and promoting the use of one’s imagination.
Kathleen Finch, GM of HGTV, revealed about the series:
Disney and HGTV are teaming up to transform backyards into the ultimate family hang-out spot. This series features spectacular fantasy makeovers that only the Disney team could imagine and HGTV could pull off.
In just the first episode the family gets a 200-foot long Disney Magic Kingdom-inspired train installed in their yard as well as an oversized teapot and an 8-foot tall sorcerer’s hat. What would you want in your yard that was inspired by the Disney Parks? We would love a bunch of hidden Mickey’s!
Let us know if you plan on tuning in, or if you take the time this summer to Disney-fy your yard!

How cool is this? Bringing Disney home. We have a 15year old who has told us in no uncertain terms she will be married in disney world. (lets hope she doesn’t mind mom and dad on her honeymoon)My 2 year old sat in the recliner and watched all of the series premeire. Every time a castle comes on TV she shouts “look momma disney world.” My husband has decided as soon as we can retire we are moving to orlando to work at disney. We just visited in march of this year, and the flowers were outstanding. Who knew topiaries could be so real? Cant wait to go back in the fall to see what holloween is like. This show was created for our family. I cant wait to see more!
Can’t wait to see the new episodes!
