Disney’s “The Lone Ranger” To Release December 21, 2012

It has been announced that Walt Disney Pictures “The Lone Ranger” will arrive in theaters on December 21, 2012. The movie will be directed by Gore Verbinski and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer. The film will star Armie Hammer as The Lone Ranger and Johnny Depp as his sidekick Tonto.

“The Lone Ranger” will go into production later this year, so it’s going to be a while before Johnny is back working on the next “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise film, but we’ll keep you posted when we hear any information about the fifth film in the series.
