“Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” Is Disney’s Biggest International Release
Walt Disney Pictures newest “Pirates of the Caribbean” film, “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides,” has become the Disney Company’s biggest release of all time at the international box office. The fourth “Pirates of the Caribbean” movie has brought in $695.9 million overseas so far, and of course it’s not done!
In addition, “Pirates of the Caribbean: On The Stranger Tides” is the fourth biggest earning movie of all time at the foreign box office, only being beaten by “Avatar” with $2 billion, “Titanic” with $1.2 billion, and “The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King” with $742.1 million. Chances are Disney’s new movie could end up beating at least one of these films, taking a spot in the three highest grossing movies overseas.
