Comedian Larry the Cable Guy voices the character Mater in Disney/Pixar’s upcoming “Cars 2″ animated sequel movie. In anticipation of the movies’ release on June 24th Larry was out promoting “Cars 2″ in New York City on June 15th which is when these photos were taken.
In “Cars 2,” Larry’s character Mater is friends with the main “Cars” character Lightning McQueen, who is voiced by Owen Wilson.
We’re not sure if you have seen all of the advertisements promoting “Cars 2” on TV lately, but there’s a lot! Disney/Pixar has teamed up with a number of brands, including State Farm, Target and Band-Aid to promote the film with fun animated commercials. Let us know if you see any of them!
