Disney star Jake T. Austin, from the Disney Channel Original Series “Wizards of Waverly Place,” is set to star in a new Tom Sawyer & Huckleberry Finn movie adaptation. Jake will play the character Huck while actor Joel Courtney is set to play Tom. The movie is set to be directed by Jo Kastner, however not much past that is known. We’ll keep you posted when we find out more about the plot and the other actors in the film!

Congrats to Jake on getting this role though! We can’t wait to see him take on the famous character from Mark Twain’s novels.
