The Department of Transportation has released this new PSA about not driving while distracted. The PSA is titled “Only Bad Guys Drive Distracted” and it includes the characters from Disney/Pixar’s new movie “Cars 2.” You can learn more at www.distraction.gov.

On August 23rd Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment and ABC Studios will be releasing “Off The Map: Complete Series” on DVD. The show was only on the air for one season, but it was an interesting show. We thought it was similar to “Grey’s Anatomy,” but there was less room to grow since there couldn’t be as many different scenarios since rather than a hospital they were in a much more remote location. The adventure aspect of the show was interesting, but the show moved a lot slower than many viewers may have liked, which is one of the reasons for its not coming back for a second season. However, the show had actor Zach Gilford from “Friday Night Lights,” in it, so that was a plus!

Disney Publishing has launched a new app called Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue – A Magical Adventure. When you download the app you will have the opportunity to read about the Disney Fairies Vidia, Rosetta, Silvermist, Tinker Bell and more! With the app you can control the magic by “blowing” fairy dust into the scene as you follow the already interactive story about the fairies rescuing Tinker Bell from the mainland.

A release date for the “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” release to Blu-ray and DVD has not been announced, but here we have most of the packaging artwork (excluding the DVD packaging).
