Disney XD “Lab Rats” Television Show
Disney XD has announced a new live-action comedy show coming to the network called “Lab Rats.” The show is about a teenager named Leo who discovers three teens with bionic powers in the basement of his home. Leo lives in the house along with his mom Tasha, and his inventor step-dad Donald Davenport. The three teens convince Leo to take them with him to high school so they can try to lead a normal life. Yeah right!
Here is the official description from Disney XD:
“After inadvertently accessing a high tech wall panel that sends him plummeting into a secret underground lab, Leo discovers three teen super-humans – Adam the strong one, Bree the fast one and Chase the smart one. The three, eager to leave their confines, convince Leo to take them along to school, where they try to be normal teens while managing their bionic strengths. Along the way, they help Leo build confidence in himself, and figure out a way to keep their bionic abilities and dangerous missions a secret from the world.”
“Lab Rats” will begin filming in September and will arrive on Disney XD sometime in 2012. Here is a list of actors in the show:
- Tyrel Jackson Williams (“Everybody Hates Chris”) as Leo
- Billy Unger (“You Again”) as Chase
- Spencer Boldman (“I’m in the Band”) as Adam
- Kelli Berglund (“Hip Hop Harry”) as Bree
- Hal Sparks (E!’s “Talk Soup”) as Davenport
“Lab Rats” was created by Chris Peterson and Bryan Moore who will also be on board as executive producers along with Mark Brazill. Does this sound like a show you want to watch?

The star who plays Leo is actually the little brother of the boy who plays on Everybody Hates Chris.
