Soccer superstar, and new dad, David Beckham appeared on the Disney Channel segment Take Two With Phineas And Ferb. Here is the description that was posted along with the video:
“Phineas and Ferb kick back with international soccer star David Beckham, while Buford challenges the famous athlete and gets a free trip around the world.”
Just like David gave Phineas and Ferb soccer tips, he owes Justin Bieber some tips too because Justin agreed to perform a private show for his kids in exchange for some soccer lessons!
During one of her concerts Taylor Swift performed a short cover of Bon Jovi’s classic track “Livin’ On A Prayer.” Taylor does a great job and we wish that she would record a longer version of her cover and post it online for her fans to check out! Or better yet, wouldn’t it be great if she released an album with a ton of cover songs on it! She would do a fabulous job with that!
Taylor also recently covered Justin Bieber’s song “Baby” and got a lot of recognition for it – including from Justin himself who Tweeted to Taylor that he just might have to show up at one of her upcoming concerts to thank her! Maybe Justin will take his girlfriend Selena Gomez along with him to Taylor’s show and the three of them can perform on stage
Chelsea Kane filmed a new commercial for Zaxby’s to promote the new strawberry cheesecake milkshake at the restaurant. We love that the commercial plays off of Chelsea’s recent stint on ABC’s “Dancing With The Stars,” in which the Disney actress made in into the final three in the competition. Chelsea says in the video that in honor of the new milkshake she will be dancing the milkshake tango, which consists of a bit of dancing, and then a lot of drinking the milkshake! Love it!
Disney has revealed that the “Gargoyles” movie that is currently in the works won’t be anything like the television show that aired on the Disney Channel in the 90s. However, they have revealed that the movie will be about gargoyle statues on buildings coming to life to protect their city – which sounds a lot like the plot of the TV show to us, but we’ll wait until the movie comes out to see for sure!
The “Gargoyles” script is being written by David Elliot and Paul Lovett, who worked together on “G.I. Joe: Rise of the Cobra.” Lauren Schuler Donner and Jack Leslie will serve as producers for the movie.
We’ll keep you posted with more details, but we have our fingers crossed that Disney at least makes some references to the old TV show in the new film!
Muppets character Sam The Eagle is dressed up like Marvel’s “Captain America” in the brand new movie poster for Walt Disney Pictures upcoming movie “The Muppets.” “Captain America: The First Avenger” just arrived in theaters on the 22nd, so it’s clever marketing on the part of Disney to use their own movie to promote another one of their films on the way.
