Kirstie Alley Comedy Pilot On ABC
ABC may be picking up a new comedy pilot that stars actress Kirstie Alley, who most recently competed on ABC’s “Dancing With The Stars.” The comedy is titled “The Manzanies” and is about an opinionated wife and mother who moves her family to a repressed country-club town.
The pilot was written by Marco Pennette, who previously worked on ABC’s “Ugly Betty” along with Dave Flebotte, who works on ABC’s “Desperate Housewives.” Dave will also executive produce alongside Joann Alfano (“30 Rock”), Aaron Kaplan and Jason Weinberg.
