Taylor Swift On The Hunger Games Soundtrack

Taylor Swift made a special announcement yesterday – she’s included on the soundtrack CD for “The Hunger Games.” Taylor sings the song “Safe & Sound” on the album and the track features The Civil Wars.

“The Hunger Games” arrives in theaters on March 23, 2012. We’re assuming the album will arrive around the same time, but we’ll keep you posted when a release date is announced.

Are you excited that Taylor is a part of “The Hunger Games”? We’ve got our fingers crossed that Miley Cyrus is too, since her boyfriend Liam Hemsworth plays one of the main characters (Gale Hawthorne) in the movie!
