OMG! YESSSS!!, This is what many people have been waiting for…some COLOR on Disney channel!, No offence to anyone, but it has been some time since Disney has created a television series, or even movies that are centered around different ethnic groups. I mean, we had “The Proud family”, “That’s so Raven”, “Cory in the House” “Wendy Wu-homecoming warrior”, “What color is friendship”, “Sister Sister”, “Smart Guy”,and “Gotta Kick it Up” which were all geared toward different nationalities, other than white. The shows mentioned were great, but sadly, they were put off the air..and many people wonder why. Of course shows do eventually get old, and the view ratings go down, but they should be replaced.
Recently, I have been seeing Disney trying to add other cultures in their television movies, and series with “ANT Farm”, and “The Princess and the Frog”, but there still needs to be more! So please Disney, we know that many cultures can be considered a minority in society, but that doesn’t have to be the case on this channel! Lets embrace the fact that, children of the world are watching, and they want to see people like them on Disney Channel!
