Oh no! Russell Brand has just filed for divorce from his wife Katy Perry. The duo met in 2008 and were married in October of last year. Are you surprised that the two are splitting?
Here’s a statement Russell released to the Associated Press:
Sadly, Katy and I are ending our marriage. I’ll always adore her and I know we’ll remain friends.
We wish the best for Russell and Katy during this difficult time.
