The Disney Junior TV Channel Launches March 23, 2012

The new Disney Junior TV channel will launch at midnight on March 23, 2012. The channel will replace SoapNet.

If you tune in to the new channel you’ll get to see the new animated show “Doc McStuffins,” along with a number of other new series for kids arriving over the next couple of years, including “Sofia The First” and “Oki’s Oasis.” Plus, all of your favorite Disney Junior shows will be playing on the channel too, like “Handy Manny,” “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse” and more!

We’re also excited to announce that Disney Junior will have a weekend movie night called The Magical World of Disney Junior! No word yet on the day and time of the movie airings, but we’ll keep you posted!

We can’t wait!

   Will the new Disney Junior channel be an extra channel I have to add on to my Dish Network package? We already have the Disney Channels except for HD.
