Uh oh. The episode of “Modern Family” that will air on ABC tonight, called “Little Bo Bleep,” has already drawn controversy. In the episode Mitch and Cam (Jess Tyler Ferguson and Eric Stonestreet) have a bit of an issue on their hands when their daughter Lily (Aubrey Anderson-Emmons) uses the F word.
Many people are up in arms that such a young actor would be asked to say the word during the show’s taping, however it has been revealed that Aubrey said “Fudge” instead of the actual word, and that with the use of a “bleep” and pixilation it will sound like Aubrey said something not so good.
Does this episode plotline offend you? We think this is an issue that a lot of parents face as their child is exposed to the world, so we’re not surprised that “Modern Family” is tackling it!
