Lionsgate has hired a writer and director for the sequel movie to “The Hunger Games,” “Catching Fire.” Reportedly Gary Ross will be returning to direct the movie while Simon Beaufoy (“127 Hours,” “Slumdog Millionaire”) will be writing the script.

“Catching Fire” will arrive on November 22, 2013. We can’t wait!

P.S. Get ready for “The Hunger Games” to arrive in theaters on March 23, 2012.
