ABC Drama TV Show “Americana”
ABC has picked up a new drama pilot called “Americana.” Each episode will run for one hour, and the show is a soap opera.
“Americana” is about a fashion designer and what his family-life and work-life is like. The show will be written and executive produced by Michael Seitzman, Mark Gordon and Nicholas Pepper.

never mind a new primetime soap, bring back your daytime dramas. love in the afternoon, youre line up now is crud in the afternoon.
Do we look like we want another soap? NO we want our soaps back. Nothing can replace the soaps you took off.
I do not intend to watch any new soaps. You took away our daytime shows, claiming they were not cost efficient.

Why would you cancel a 43 year soap with over 2 million+ faithful viewers. to what spend money to start another one. What about all that research abc had done. That told you the soap era was over. I will not be watching your new soaps. Or for that matter anything else on abc.
A once-a week hour-long drama might be less expensive than daily soap and can be canceled right away if ratings aren’t good.
