Miley Cyrus’ Management Didn’t Want Her Brother Trace Cyrus On Tour With Her In 2009

Back when Miley Cyrus toured with her “Hannah Montana” music in 2009 her managers didn’t want her brother Trace Cyrus to tour with her! Trace opened for Miley with his band Metro Station, but the people in charge of the tour weren’t very happy about it, because of the way Trace looked. Here’s what Trace revealed to OrangeCounty.com:

People don’t expect me to make pop music. Even on the tour with Miley, her managers and people on her label didn’t even want us [there]. Not because of our music but because of the way I looked. That bothers me more than anything. Some of the most successful artists are the weirdest ones – look at Lady Gaga. I’ve done shows with her and she’s amazing. When people first meet me, they think I’m going to be a mean guy or something. I guess I just need to prove that you can’t judge a book by its cover.

What do you think about this?
