China Anne McClain, from the Disney Channel Original Series “Ant Farm,” and her sisters premiered their new song “Rise” on Radio Disney yesterday – and now you can pick up the track on iTunes! The ladies’ group is called The McClain Sisters and the song is from the upcoming Disneynature film “Chimpanzee.” Here’s a message from China:

Why does China’s voice sound so bad on this song? It makes the song pretty bad. She is normally a great singer…but apparently cannot sing in harmony with her sisters. Too bad

The reason “Rise” sounds bad is due to using untrained voices. Each and every time Chynna slips into vibrato her pitch goes right out the window. She could be great with a few years of intense vocal training. She would soon learn how to properly sing her vowels and she could reign in the out of pitch vibrato. In the meantime, please God, stop singing so loudly out of pitch, Miss McClain. Seek out a vocal coach to correct bad habits before the are ingrained in your singing style. Just remember “pitch pitch pitch”!! Back off on the out of control vibrato.
