Tom Hanks Will Play Walt Disney In “Saving Mr. Banks”

Tom Hanks will play Walt Disney in a new movie “Saving Mr. Banks” about the making of Disney’s “Mary Poppins.” Actress Emma Thompson is in talks to play “Mary Poppins” author P.L. Travers. It took 14 years of persuasion from Disney for P.L. Travers to allow him to make her book into a movie – and then she didn’t like it! Yikes!

This is going to be an interesting movie for sure! Do you think Tom will make a good Walt character?
