We just came across something very interesting! YouTube has a new feature, similar to Google’s search feature, where when you begin to type in a word it will give you suggestions. So, usually when you begin to type in the name of an artist, YouTube will give suggestions that are what we would describe as recent. So, if you type in “Selena Gomez” you get her songs “Hit The Lights” and “Love You Like A Love Song,” which are both new. For Justin Bieber you get “Boyfriend” and Mistletoe,” which are also both recent.
What’s interesting, is when you type in Miley Cyrus, you get “Miley Cyrus Liam Hemsworth Punk’d,” which is recent, but you also get “Miley Cyrus John Travolta ‘I Thought I Lost You,'” which is the title song for Disney’s “Bolt” movie. So, either the song is far more popular and more widely searched than we would have assumed, OR YouTube is telling us something that Disney hasn’t announced yet – the possibility of a “Bolt” sequel.
