Rosie O’Donnell Doesn’t Think Lindsay Lohan Should Star In The Elizabeth Taylor Movie On Lifetime
Lifetime is making a movie based on the life of Elizabeth Taylor, and Lindsay Lohan has been cast as the lead. While Lindsay is probably very excited about the role, fellow actress Rosie O’Donnell had a lot to say about why Lindsay shouldn’t play the part. Rosie went off on a tirade on NBC’s morning news about how Lindsay needs help, not work, and how she hasn’t had a good movie since she was 16-years-old.
After Rosie’s comments were seen by Lindsay’s father Michael Lohan, he Tweeted the following message to her:
Of ALL people, I can’t believe YOU would judge my daughter or her ability. Second chances aren’t up to you, they’re up to God.
Rosie then responded:
She needs help – nobody around her seems to get that – it’s tragic what has become of her life – work isn’t gonna fix her.
Yikes! What do you think of all of this?

The media has mistreated LL so much for so long, it’s no wonder she’s had problems. She deserves to be treated with respect for all of her talents, and I am looking forward to this movie–and all the others that she will be in in the future. Let’s try not to be so judgmental and give this wonderful actress the dignity that she has earned.
LOVE IT! Rosie is most certainly correct. Not only that, it teaches youngsters that you are not held accountable. She has committed far more damage then she’s paid for and was given chance after chance after chance. Now she’s going to play the role of a woman that would be sickened to learn of who they cast as her? Heck no.
I think Elizabeth Gillies would be a much better choice, she looks a lot like Liz Taylor.
