Allstar Weekend Leaves Hollywood Records

Just after Nathan Darmody left Allstar Weekend things changed for the guys again when they left the Hollywood Records label. Ever since the split from the Disney-owned record label the guys have been spending their time lining up shows on their own, writing music, and recording songs for their fans.

The guys’ hard work can be seen soon when they release an EP album on July 3, 2012. Then, the guys are planning to release a full-length album in January 2013. Allstar Weekend has also planned a summer tour, and the dates are set to be announced soon!

We definitely think the guys can make it on their own, but do you hope they stay solo or do you want them to get signed to another record label?

   Just my opinion, but I think they should stay on their own. Then they won’t have people telling them what to do with their music. The only thing that sucks for them and fans not in North America, is that they have to pay for renting out venues for shows with their own money. And I know that’s expensive. And to do it out of the country probably costs even more, not to mention trying to find out where to do the shows in foreign countries, where they wouldn’t know the language…
   But oh well. I live in USA so I don’t need to worry about that
